Terms and Conditions

These are the rules and regulations for the use of our car hire services.

Eligibility

  • The hirer must be at least 23 years old and possess a valid driving license for a minimum of 2 years.
  • International renters must present a valid passport and an international driving permit.

Rental Agreement

  • A rental agreement must be signed by the hirer before the vehicle is handed over.
  • The hirer is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the information provided in the rental agreement.

Rental Period

  • The rental period starts at the time the vehicle is handed over and ends when it is returned to Safari Wheels.
  • Extensions to the rental period must be communicated and approved by Safari Wheels in advance.

Vehicle Condition and Use

  • The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as it was at the start of the rental period, excluding normal wear and tear.
  • The vehicle must only be used for lawful purposes and driven in a responsible manner.
  • The hirer is not permitted to sub-rent or use the vehicle for commercial purposes.

Fuel Policy

  • The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with a full tank.
  • If the vehicle is returned without a full tank, the cost of refueling will be charged to the hirer.

Insurance and Liability

  • Basic insurance is included in the rental price, covering third-party liability and damage to the vehicle.
  • The hirer is responsible for any damage or loss not covered by insurance, including tire and windscreen damage.
  • The hirer may opt for additional insurance coverage at an extra cost.

Payment and Deposits

  • The full rental amount and a refundable security deposit must be paid at the start of the rental period.
  • The security deposit will be refunded upon return of the vehicle, subject to any deductions for damage or additional charges.

Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the rental start time will receive a full refund.
  • Late cancellations (less than 24 hours before rental start time) or no-shows may be subject to a cancellation fee.
  • Refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days.
